Most of these resources are free. If you are blessed by them, find a Donate Button and help me keep this site running. I write and create these resources. Most of the time, we use it in our kidmin. Sometimes, it’s an old lesson or series of lessons I wrote years ago and expanded for you.
From time to time, I send you over to another website or a product page with something I’ve found helpful. Some of the links are affiliate links. That means, if you click the link and purchase the product, I would receive a small commission, which helps me run this site.
Also, you can read my Privacy Page, but I have no control over what happens on those websites, like if they take down the resource or increase their prices or if they have a different statement of faith than you or me. I promise not to send you to random links. I only want to show you resources that would be helpful to you and your ministry. That said, links expire so if you find a link on this site that’s broken or seems compromised, please let me know so I can fix it!
Speaking of a Statement of Faith, what’s yours?
I come from a Pentecostal background and below are my core beliefs. I include this because it’s important for you to know the resources you’re getting and if your church is in agreement with the beliefs of the person or company that made those resources. So here’s mine.
- I believe there is one living and true God – omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient – and there are three Persons in one Godhead, united and equal: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- I believe in Jesus Christ, God the Son, the Word of the Father. I believe He took man’s nature in the womb of a virgin and was equally God and perfect (sinless) man. I believe He suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried to reconcile us back to the Father and to atone for our sins and the original sin. I believe He resurrected from death, ascended to heaven, is sitting at the right hand of the Father, and will one day return.
- I believe in the Holy Spirit, one and equal with the Father and the Son. I believe in the Pentecostal baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as He gives utterance.
- I believe in the verbal plenary inspiration of the Holy Word of God known as the Bible. I believe it is the full and complete revelation of the plan and history of redemption.
- I believe in justification by faith alone (Romans 5:1).
Tell me more about you.
Sure! I have been in kidmin since 1999. I started as a volunteer, then became a teacher, the director, and now a pastor with a local minister’s license. I have a BA in Church Leadership, an AA in Psychology, Children’s Ministry Diplomas from Kidmin Academy and Kidmin Academy Next, and a Writing for Children and Teenagers Certificate.
You can find me online over at annaangela.com, Twitter, IG, and YouTube. I’m also on a bunch of other social sites but these are where I’m most active.
I love kidmin and family ministry. I love that moment when kids get it – when God becomes more than a belief, when doctrine becomes more than a lesson, when their lives, hearts, and minds are changed by the power of God, and when they realize He is using them to change the world. Those moments make all the blood, sweat, and tears worth it, and kidmin has a way of literally drawing blood, sweat, and tears from those serving in it!
My prayer for Kidmin Together is that God would use it as a place for resources for kidmin and kidmin leaders. I’m talking about lessons, curricula, ideas, inspiration, and encouragement. I hope you find this site helpful.
