Here’s a very easy and funny skit for Pastors’ Appreciation Day called “What Pastors Do.” You only need two children who know how to speak with dramatic effect and zero props. There’s no need to memorize it, either.
Our children read off their papers, and the whole thing lasted a little less than 2 minutes. You can hear the audio below (no video for privacy reasons, the beginning is a little cut off, but you’ll get the idea). I coached the children on when to stress different words and when to pause. The version they used have slight differences than the one I provided below because I had more time to clean it up for you.
Top Tips: Give each child their own microphone to use so the dialogue flows better. Remind the children to slow down. Nerves tend to make them speak faster.
